Hayes Street Closure Permit 2024

Hayes St needs to to be restored to the vibrant business corridor that it was pre-pandemic! There are a multitude of reasons why we do not support the continuation of this experiment on our business corridor. Below is an outline of some of the key principles that support why we disagree with the current course of this street closure. In June 2020 the encampment crisis was in full swing. Octavia Blvd and a number of locations around Hayes Valley were plagued with tents.
