The Hayes Valley Clubhouse was rebuilt with the intent and promise of being a beacon community center in Hayes Valley. Unfortunately this promise has been unfulfilled due to temporary conditions which have been in play since its opening in 2011 with a year to year tenant Collective Impact, a non profit occupying the Clubhouse in lieu of salaried positions who would oversee and partner with the neighborhood for inclusive community use.
We continue to advocate for bringing to life the vision that this center had in store for the neighborhood. More updates to follow regarding our efforts.
