Update Tuesday December 15, 2020:
One week after the break-in we’re pleased to report thanks to the many contributors we reached our goal. We appreciate all the support and all the shares – this truly was a kind gesture of appreciation for a small business that is so very central to our community. ~HVS Team
Nabila’s got robbed in the early am hours on Monday December 7; three individuals hoisted their ATM machine in the back of an Audi SUV leaving damage to their front doors and gate. As one of Hayes Valley’s longest standing locally funded small businesses, incidents like these are a major setback both financially and emotionally. This family run store served our community during the first phase of the lock down (not to mention the last 25 years!) and continues to be a staple in Hayes Valley. A visit to this store is always greeted with a genuine smile and it is indeed a place where everyone knows your name. While we head into another lock down and the end of the year holiday season, we simply seek to collectively raise the funds to cover the cost of Nabila’s insurance deductible for the repairs of their store entry, and to express our gratitude and appreciation for serving our community.
Please join our fundraiser and help spread the word. Thank you for your 💚 and support for Nabila’s.
