List of Observed Permit Violations
(Documented conditions; list not exhaustive)
- Unattended barricades; no staff on either end
- No barricades set up on Octavia
- Barricades moved or altered from required positions
- Vehicles entering the closure area without escort or authorization
- No established 20-foot emergency access lane; cones or markings absent
- Permit not posted on site as required
- Required advance warnings signage not posted
- Tow-away/ no parking notices not posted
- Closure traffic-control signage stored on sidewalk rather than deployed
- Barricade materials not stored in accordance with permit terms
- Vehicles driven or parked within the closure area
- Overflowing trash and debris inconsistent with zero-waste and cleanup requirements
- Public right-of-way cleanliness standards not maintained following activations
- Prohibited general advertising within the closure area
- Skateboarding, bicycles, motorcycles and scooters operating within the closure area
- Vendor tables and music equipment observed operating on the sidewalk
- Physical objects deployed on sidewalk areas despite permit restrictions
- Sidewalk space used for event activity inconsistent with permit terms requiring unobstructed pedestrian access
