Activity within the closure area again appeared limited relative to the surrounding corridor impacts and disruptions. Other observed conditions remain consistent with our previously submitted weekly reports.
In addition, the recurring Signature vendor was again observed operating within the closure area, including from a branded retail truck extending activity onto the adjacent sidewalk. Concerns regarding this activity have been repeatedly documented and raised with City agencies since June 2024. Nearly two years after these concerns were first raised, the activity continues and appears to be expanding rather than being addressed.
We again call on the SFMTA Board to revoke Permit No. 1316522 and restore Hayes Street to public use.
