Week 18 documents the continued recurrence of conditions previously reported to SFMTA, including market-related vehicles occupying customer parking and business loading areas along the Hayes Street commercial corridor.
Merchants are repeatedly leaving messages on market-related vehicles asking drivers not to occupy parking needed by their customers. These impacts were raised with SFMTA before the market began and have continued throughout eighteen weeks of documented operations.
Our request to relocate the farmers market from the 400 block of Hayes Street remains outstanding and has not received a substantive response from SFMTA.
