Week 15 again documented recurring conditions associated with the Hayes Valley Farmers Market. Market-related vehicles continued to occupy curb and loading space on and adjacent to the commercial corridor, and the Signature clothing vendor was again selling during farmers market operations.
Photos from this week also show the active market footprint concentrated within a relatively limited portion of the permitted Hayes Street closure area, with substantial open roadway visible outside the primary vendor area. SFFD was again called to the 400 block of Hayes Street during farmers market operations.
Our request that SFMTA relocate the farmers market from the 400 block of Hayes Street stands.
